2006

• The CBH is born out of concern that not enough is being done to represent British pilgrims facing issues at the hands of unscrupulous tour operators  and lack of education on Health & Safety at Hajj
• Attended the ‘Health at Hajj & Umra’ conference organised by the MCB, the Health Protection Agency and Queen Mary, University of London, held in London in November 2006 at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists
• First Consumer UK Health at Hajj Seminar held in Bolton

2007

• Edorsed and supported the Hajj & Umrah Roadshow Exhibitions 2007
• Ran Health & Safety at Hajj seminars in various towns in the Northwest
• Lancashire Fire & Safety supported our seminars and delivered Safety at Hajj advice
• Ran or first clinic with NHS Bolton and innoculated pilgrims with Free Flu Jabs supported by the Bolton Council of Mosques

2008

• Attended the Hajj Summit at the Department of Business to address issues within the Hajj & Umrah sector
• Worked with the CAA and Department of Business (BERR) to raise awareness within the Muslim community on travel and consumer issues
• Held Events in Northwest & Yorkshire to promote better understanding of Health & Safety at Hajj and Umrah
• Recognised as one of the leading UK charities working for British pilgrims in the UK in Parliament (Hansard)
• Ran clinic at the Zakariya Jaame Mosque and offered pilgrims FREE flu jabs

2009

• Continued our programmes to educate pilgrims on Health & Safety at  Hajj & Umrah
• Pilot Hajj Vaccination clinics in Bolton, Manchester & Yorkshire
• In light of the Swine Flu Pandemic, it was mandatory for every pilgrim to be immunised against Meningitis and a Flu Jab.  We worked with partners to reduce overall costs of the two jabs and delivered clinics in the Northwest and Yorkshire
• Supported by Bolton NHS PCT offered pilgrims Free Flu Jabs for Hajj
• Ran clinics at the Bolton Council of Mosques and established Hajj Clinic
• CBH takes on its’ first casework from pilgrims facing Hajj visa issues

2010

• CBH becomes official Foreign & Commonwealth Offices’ “Know Before You Go” campaign partner – The only Hajj & Umrah specific charity to partner up
• Supported the Hajj Exhibiton at the Global Peace & Unity Event at the  Excel Centre, London
• Invited on the Hajj Show on  IQRA TV
• Invited onto the Islam Channel to discuss Hajj impact on British pilgrims

2011

• Platinum Supporter of the  Hajj & Umrah Exhibition 2012 organised by the Hajj People
• Founding member of the British Hajj & Umrah Council (BHUC) launched at the Hajj Exhibtion 2011 -  delivered keynote speech
• Launched nationwide Hajj &umrah vaccination programme
• Delivered 12 Vaccination clinics with over 1000 pilgrims innoculated against Meningitis
• Promoted the British Museum Hajj Exhibition at our clinics
• Founding members of the British Hajj & Umrah Council
• Invited to speak at a Hajj seminar at Masjid-e-Quba, delivering Health & Safety at Hajj
• Supported the Dawah Project (Islam Channel) Hajj Exhibiton & Souk and delivered a Hajj Vaccination clinic at the Royal Regency, London
• Invited onto the Islam Channel Politics show to discuss Hajj Fraud

2012

• Invited to the launch of the Hajj Exhibition at the British Museum ‘Hajj: Journey to the Heart of Islam’ in the presence of HRH Prince of Wales, Prince Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah of Saudi Arabia and Mohammad bin Nawaf, Saudi Ambassador to the UK
• Provided support and endorsement of the World Hajj & Umrah Convention 2012 held at the British Museum
• Memorandum of Understanding with key pharmaceutical companies to ensure supply for pilgrims of the ACWY vaccine nationally
• Launched the 2012 National Hajj & Umrah Vaccination Programme at the World Hajj & Umrah Convention, British Museum, London
• Partnership working with the City of London Police to tackel Hajj Fraud
• Partnership working with the Association of Muslim Police to raise awarness on Hajj Fraud
• CBH personnel chosen to form part of the British Hajj Delegation 2012 offering on the ground support to pilgrims during Hajj
• Tribute paid by Lord Adam Patel in recognition of the work of the Council of British Hajjis delivered in front of a spectrum of international delegates who attended the World Hajj & Umrah Convention 2012
• Appreciation Award for contributions to the WHUC
• Invited to speak at the World Hajj & Umrah Convention 2012
• Contributor & Featured on the Islam Channels’ Hajj Travel Exposed Documentray Aired Monday 12th March 2012
• Invited to sit of the Government Hajj Task Force to tackle issues facing British pilgrims setup by Baroness Warsi’s Office
• Developed Mass vacciantion clinics across the UK – Over 30+ venues secured to ensure ease of access to vaccines and at an affordable price
• Advert Fetured  in the 2012/13 Edition of the Muslim Directory – 90,000 copies distributed across towns and cities in the UK
• CBHUK Official supporter of the “National Mosque Cup” football tournament 2012
